PhDr. Zdeněk Sychra, Ph. D.

Assistant professor at the Department of International Relations and European Studes FSS MU. Studied political science at the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University. In the field of European studies he focuses on the problems of the Economic and Monetary Union, ES/EU expansion, and political development of member countries.

He is co-author of the publication Měnová integrace. Náklady a přínosy členství v měnové unii [Monetary Integration: Costs and benefits of membership in a monetary union. (Lubor Lacina et al.), editor of the volume Rakousko v evropské a středoevropské politice [Austria in European and Central European Politics] (with Vít Hloušek), author of a number of specialized texts and articles on European integration, for example in the publications Mezinárodní organizace, Rozšiřování ES/EU, and Evropská referenda.
