Dear colleagues,

During the summer term 2010 your students are going to study at the University of Bremen, which is why we would now like to present the programme "Global Education" designed for international students.

"Global Education" is designed to make international student's studies in Bremen more interesting and diversified and will permit to choose classes according to own interests. It was made for international students from diverse academic areas in order to make a multidisciplinary approach towards their field of study possible. Classes will be offered in German and English.

Students can earn up to 15 credit points with "Global Education".

We would be happy if your students choose to take courses offered within the programme, since they will allow them to familiarize themselves with the German culture, history, literature, and politics, and to integrate international and intercultural perspectives into the German educational system on the other hand. Moreover, they can receive an impression about studying and doing research in Germany and can then later on integrate valuable intercultural experiences into their studies at the home university.
